SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.7.5 - #187

July 5, 2004

I will not be deceived by the quietness that is all about me. War has not ceased. The quietness that I am experiencing is because of the great victory that was wrought on my behalf. The enemy has changed his strategy against me. I will beware of the spirit of Delilah that has been sent into the battle against me during this time of quietness. I choose not to become idle during this time of quietness. There is the temptation to become comfortable after a great victory. Many are entrapped during this time period because they are ignorant of the devil's devices. God has forewarned me so that I will not be victimized by ignorance. The enemy has planned to plant unbelief in my heart during this quiet time so that I will depart from the Lord. The enemy desires to put out my spiritual eyes and bring me to shame, bound with spiritual fetters and make me a slave in the prison house of religion. I conclude not to settle for the fabricated forms of worship. I am determined to continue to worship him with all my heart in spirit and in truth. A form of godliness and a form of worship have been devised to conceal the Lord's true direction and his true purpose for my life. Many have been entangled in religion, and the wilderness of carnality has shut them in. I am determined not to go near the entanglement. I am not entrapped in the wilderness of carnality. I will not fear because of what God is revealing to me. I do not fear. I stand still and see the salvation of the Lord that he is showing unto me this day. He is fighting for me, and I shall hold my peace. I lift up my rod of confidence in God and stretch out my hand of light over the false peace that has produced quietness. He shall cause the hidden spirits to flee, and I shall not be snared by the subtlety of the plan of my enemies.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
