SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

July 4, 2004

I am determined to forget the things that are behind me. I reach forth unto the things that are before me. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God that is in Jesus Christ. I am one with him and the purpose that he came into the world to fulfill. I cleave unto him, for we are one. I have left the past. Now I look unto the land that he will show unto me. He shall make a mighty congregation, and he will bless me. I will be blessed, and I shall be a blessing. Those who bless me shall be blessed, and those who curse me shall be cursed. I purpose to make a personal altar unto God and call upon his name. He will appear unto me at this personal altar. I will not marvel because he has said that he will appear unto me. He appeared unto Abram, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Gideon, Samuel, David, and Jeremiah. He is not a respecter of persons. I choose not to limit my experience with him because of the unbelief of others. I expand my faith according to the standards in his word. I will not be robbed of the relationship that he is authoring because of unbelief fostered by the traditions of men. He will appear unto me. As of old, he will appear unto me. He has loved me with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness, he has drawn me.

I have been on a stormy sea for a long time. He stood by Paul when he tossed with a tempest. He has stood by me. Now I am of good cheer. I have lost much on this stormy sea. I take the broken pieces that remain in my possession, and he will show me how they shall be multiplied. I conclude not to despise my losses on the stormy sea of life. He is teaching me to count all things loss. He is teaching me to count all things dung. He has destroyed the chains of the enemy. I will not fret because of my losses, for every dollar that was lost shall be replaced with a thousand. Every person that was lost shall be replaced by a hundred.

Jesus has blessed me, and there is no one who can reverse what he has done for me. He is my Rock. He stands with me. He is inside of me teaching me his way. He has brought me to another level of living. I allow him to live his life out through me and then I shall behold the miraculous power that he is sending through my life. Every day of my life can be filled with the manifestation of his power. The power of the resurrection is in the workings of my life, also the fellowship of his sufferings. God is inside of me. No one can take him away from me. I have Jesus, the Creator. He made all things; therefore, I do not worry about things that have been taken from me. He can make all things new and more beautiful. He is here to comfort me. He knows of my grief. He knows of my sorrows. He knows of my regrets. He knows me. He has called me friend. He is preparing to name me as one in his bride. I grow in obedience and trust, and I shall attain unto a higher relationship than friendship. There shall be lost friends in the end. I set my sights on brideship, for many are called, but few are chosen.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
