SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.6.24 - #176

June 24, 2004

Today is the day that God has made. I will rejoice and be glad in his day. I am not without a comforter. My head is not hung down in the pit of destruction. The hands of my savior have lifted my head. He has brought me unto a banqueting table in spite of the frustrating effects of the adversary. I determine to keep my attention on him. I purpose not to let my mind imagine the vain things fostered by the inspiration of carnality and devils. Today is a new day, a day to rejoice and be glad. I have salvation. I am content, for godliness has been given to me as a reward for faith. Contentment has been shown to me as a reward for my thanksgiving. I lift up my eyes unto the hills of salvation and above the clouds of darkness over head. The Lord has brought me a gift and wrapped it in a fire. The gift of love, which he has given me, is hidden from the carnal eyes, for carnality will not seek a gift wrapped in the trial of fire. I place the clothes of faith on, and I reach into this fire with confidence in God. He will hand me the gift on a platter of grace. I decide to open my eyes from the slumber of the last days, and I will behold the hands of grace with gifts in its hands. I take the gift of love and embrace it with a heart filled with gratitude, for he ordained this fire to hide the preciousness of his desires for me. No one will steal the treasures of Christ that he has hidden for me in the fire. The chamber of secrecy is without a key. Only those whose names are written on the chamber can enter in and find the gift laid up for me.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
