I
purpose to taste and see that the Lord is good. I have tried
the things from the table of devils and found out that a bad
taste was left in my mouth. I will no longer taste the things
offered from that table, for it is always damnable. Tasting
God is a wonderful experience. I cannot taste him without tasting
his words. His words are sweet unto my taste. I taste them and
enter into a new experience with him. He entered into a new
dimension when he, by the grace of God, tasted death for every
man. I taste the good word of God and the powers of the age
to come. He tasted death so that I might taste life. Life is
in these words being spoken in my ears. The spirit gives life.
The words that he speaks unto me are spirit, and they are life.
I taste of life today, and I am resurrected above trouble. I
try these words that are spoken unto me and see that they are
making a difference in the outcomes projected by the enemy.
He has opened my ears so that I might try the words that I hear.
There are many who have ears to hear, yet hear not. I taste
and see that he is good, for blessed is the man that trusts
in God. He is gracious. I taste his graciousness and remember
that those who know his name will place their trust in him,
for he has not forsaken them that seek him.
Jesus
is the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty
in battle. I lift up my head, for it is a gate for him to enter
into. I have become an everlasting door for him, the King of
glory to enter into. He is the Lord of hosts. I taste of these
words, and my eyes shall be opened to see the hosts that are
with me. Those who are with me are more than they that are with
my enemies. He is satisfying my soul with marrow and fatness.
My mouth shall praise him with joyful lips as I remember him
upon my bed and meditate upon him while I watch at night. He
is my help. Now I rise upon the shadow of his wings with the
legs of rejoicing. His right hand is upholding me. I do not
worry about those who seek to destroy me, for they that seek
my soul shall go into the lower parts of the earth. He will
stop the mouth of those who speak lies against me. They shall
fall by the sword of their own mouths. As the apple tree among
the trees of the wood, so am I to him among the sons of men.
I sit down under the shadow of his wings with great delight
and taste of his sweet fruit. The shadow of his wings covers
the banqueting house that he has brought me unto. I behold the
banner over me and eat from the hands of love. I taste of his
love and know again how great his goodness is. I taste of his
love, and I will become cheerful in the midst of great sorrow.
The
Lord has hidden me in the banqueting house. I eat and am filled
with the word of God. It is sweet unto the taste, yea, sweeter
than honey to my mouth. I show forth the praises of the God
who has called me out of darkness into his marvelous light.
In this banqueting house of good things, he is gathering together
those who shall be kings and priests unto him. They shall reign
on the earth. I do not fear death, for if I die for his name's
sake, I will behold his face in righteousness, and I shall be
satisfied when I awake with his likeness. In this life, I will
have mothers, sisters, children, houses, brethren, and lands
if I have left all and have followed him. Persecutions come
with the blessing. I look at the eternal life at the end that
sums up the package and rejoice. I look at the exchange for
forsaking all. It is a hundredfold. I rejoice, for he is abundantly
satisfying me with the fatness of his house. He is making me
to drink of the river of his pleasures. He has placed within
me the fountain of life. His light causes me to see the light.
I sit down in the banqueting house and eat by this light of
love. I open my mouth wide, for he is filling it with good things.
I taste and see how good he is.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
