SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.6.14 - #166

June 14, 2004

I have observed the boisterous wind in the storm instead of focusing on Jesus. He is teaching me to walk on the waters of my circumstances. I know of a truth, that he will not allow me to fall; therefore, I do not doubt because of the manner in which the wind blows. Jesus is the Master of the wind, and he will cause it to cease. With men, it is impossible to control the unruly wind in this trial, but with God, all things are possible. I look inside of myself, and I behold the grace that is working in me, now unto Jesus, who is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that I ask or think according to the power that works in me. He is God, and he will come and change my vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working where by he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. I can walk on the waters of circumstances, for I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. I will not perish on the waters.

God has given me precious promises. I cannot perish if the promises that God has made to me have not come to pass. No one will prevent him from doing whatsoever pleases him. He made the heaven and the earth by his great power and stretched out arm. There is nothing too hard for him. He is the God of all flesh, and there is nothing too hard for him. The Lord has given me precious promises. I am blessed if I believe, for there shall be a performance of all the things, which were told me from him. I magnify the Lord, and I allow my spirit to rejoice in God, my Savior. His mercy is on them that fear him. He puts down the mighty from their seats, and he exalts them of low degree. He fills the hungry with good things. The rich he sends away empty.

He will not suffer me to fall. God is more than able to make me stand. Grace is needed in this trial, and he is able to make all grace abound toward me, that I, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. In all these things, I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. I am fully persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, my Lord. I commit all things unto him, and I am fully persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. The Holy Ghost in me will keep the good things, which were committed unto him to keep. I do not lean to my own understanding, but I lean on the Spirit within me. If I am leaning on the Spirit, then I will rise up and make a declaration of spiritual empowerment; wherefore, Jesus will not be ashamed to be called my God. He will not disappoint the confidence that I have placed in him. He will satisfy the hope and the expectations of my faith.

I have been appointed to an office in the ministry. No one can remove me from the office that God has appointed me unto. I will not be let down by the unhappiness caused by men. The Lord is satisfying the hopes, desires, and expectations of the Spirit. It is he, the Father, who dwells in me that is doing the work. I purpose not to allow the measurements of men to become the standard for my performance. I will be disappointed constantly by my failure to measure up or to produce the desired results required of me by men if I become a man pleaser. There is nothing to regret about the performance of my God in me; therefore, I look to the work of the Spirit in me. He does the work. Now I labor together with God, and his fulfillment shall be performed by him.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
