SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.6.10 - #162

June 10, 2004

God has seen all the things that have transpired, and he knows of my disappointments. He will not allow the things that are working together to end in a bad way. All the things that have happened to me will end in a good way and in good results. I rejoice in all my pains and disappointments. All the things that appear to be bad for me may give the appearance of a ghetto and a run down community, but I will remember, he is the restorer. He will take these bad things and restore to me the good things of the spirit. To the eyes of humanity, I may perceive impossibility, but by the eyes of the Spirit, I will behold possibility and miracles. He will take this run down situation and glorify his name and his cross. My labor for his name has not been in vain. My labor of love for his name is not forgotten. Now will he show me of the faithfulness of his Spirit on behalf of the labor of love and confidence in his word. He will take every failure and create a valuable learning experience unto a profitable end. That which seemed to be a ghetto of lost purpose shall become a mansion of renewed purpose and fulfillment. The designs that were trashed by the unlearned and the uncaring shall be restored and instituted with a successful effort. Failure shall not surround my mind and prevent success from covering the area that he sends me into. This is not an effort by me as an individual, but he sends me to join a team of believers who have labored long and hard in this territory.

I look to Jesus, the only Lord God, and he will show me of his divine way. I have encouragement for them, and they have encouragement and wisdom for me. I purpose not to be high-minded but rather be humbled that he has chosen me to join in the harvest for souls. His love is upon me and in me. He is no respecter of persons. He has made no difference between the Jew and the Greek, but he has filled both with the Spirit. He will show me the way to have revival in this area. I come and follow him. He is the one that makes me a fisher of men, not myself. I do not make myself a fisher of men. He is my maker. I now rest in the security of his promises. I have sat at the feet of learned men. I now sit at his feet, and I will be made a fisher of men. He is breathing the breath of enthusiasm in me.

There is creativity in me that will bring me to a spiritual innovation of fishing effectively. He has created me in righteousness and true holiness. His ways are higher than my ways; therefore, I yield to the higher ways of his Spirit. To me, this is a difficult operation, but I will remember he has already accomplished the task before I arrived. He is already in the future with me. He is already in eternity to come with me. He is already in heaven with me right now. I allow the principles of his omnipresence and omniscience to work in me then will true faith spring up and speak through me. The task before me is already finished. I now go forth with this as a foundation for my feet. Though defeat knocks me down, I know of a truth, that I will rise and overcome. Though death brings me to the grave, I know of a truth, that I will sit down in the kingdom of God with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will survive this operation of faith.

I will not die in my efforts to succeed, but he will use the actions demonstrated to encourage others and bring a more complete knowledge of him to many. He cannot fail; therefore, I rejoice in his success through me, which is already accomplished in the fourth dimension. I come from my smallness of human mentality, and I live in the greatness of the mind of Christ. I have the mind of Christ. Now I live after the inspiration of this divine mind. I will view success according to the mind of Christ and not according to my human mind. I will make full use of my talents. They shall help me overcome. I do not rely on the flesh, but I rely on God. I can do nothing of myself, but through God, I can do all things. I will have no confidence in the flesh. If I place my confidence in the flesh, I will damage the lives of those that God has sent me to win. All that he has planned for me is coming together now. I submit to humility and then will grace work for me unto success in all things.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
