SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.6.9 - #161

June 9, 2004

As the individuality of fingerprints, so has God created believers in his body. He has gifted me according to his own will and purpose. He has saved me by his grace and granted me the opportunity to minister according to the ability that he gives. I lean not to my own understanding, neither will I seek my own way. God has awaited my total submission to him that he might lead me gently through the complicated areas ahead of me. I cannot operate on the brain of a man because I am not learned in brain surgery. For one walking in the flesh, it is impossible to accomplish the task before me. If I attempt this in my own self, I will fail and destroy others while I attempt to succeed. The Lord has a design and a plan for the ministry within me. I purpose to allow him to lead me now, and I will walk through the door and through the adversaries in the door. The challenge before me is small for him. It is great in my eyesight. I remember that I am more than a conqueror through him and only through him. I determine not to be high-minded, neither to be full of unbelief. I simply will be full of trust in his ever-abiding presence and power that is working with me and through me. God's grace is laboring exceedingly, abundantly, above all that I am able to imagine or think. I elect to continue in thanksgiving and in gratitude then will grace abound exceedingly great for me and his purpose. I choose not to despise the counsel that he sends me, but I listen and learn from the wisdom of others. I purpose not to have a self-righteous spirit but to inquire and learn from those who have gone before me. Pride will attempt to dictate to me its own ways, but the Lord has sent forth grace to produce more humility in me that I might redeem the time and go on to the good works ahead. I would be a high-risk for men, but unto God, I am chosen because of his purpose. He has prepared me and ordained me. I will not glory in what happens, but I will include others in what I am doing. I conclude not to let the presumptuousness of others gain a place in this. I choose to be inclusive of others rather than exclusive then will I gain favor of men. He has not sent me to be exalted above anyone, but he has sent me to be an example in humility and honor and integrity. The operation in soul winning is a spiritual operation by his hand. He sends me to plant and water. I make up my mind not to concern myself with the increase. He gives the increase. He is endowing me with wisdom that I might win souls; therefore, I will not glory in what I do, but I will glory in the cross and his sufferings.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
