I
do not allow my confidence in God to be shattered because of
the heat of the trial. He is faithful. Though I have been done
wrong, I must remain certain of his faithfulness to me. I allow
not the wrong done to me to be used as a measurement of trust
in him. I hold fast to the full assurance that he has meant
this for good. Now I look to the good that will come out of
this instead of the bad that I am experiencing. I allow the
roots of my faith to grow deeper into his faithfulness during
this time of hurt. I plunge myself into total trust in his promises
and him. He is the Rock. His work is perfect. He is a God of
truth, and he is without iniquity. He is just and right. His
people are his portion, and he will keep them as the apple of
his eye. As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her
young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them
on her wings, so does he lead his people in this hour. I will
not turn from serving him in spirit and in truth. I will go
forth and say, "Sing unto the Lord a new song. Praise him with
all that is within you." His face is turned toward the true
worshippers, for they are the children in whom is faith. I do
not turn from him as the children in whom there is no faith.
They are void of counsel and have no understanding in them.
They have not considered their latter end, for they are unwise
and do not understand his speech. He has sent prophets before
me, and they despised them and turned their ears from hearing
them. Their prosperity shall take flight and plunge into the
darkness. He has said, "Believe in the Lord, your God, so
shall you be established; believe my prophets, so shall you
prosper." To be established, I must believe. Those who turn
from hearing the word are rebellious. They are liars and only
desire to hear smooth things. I will have no fellowship with
those who despise prophesying, for they exalt themselves above
the knowledge of his word. God
has said, "Despise not prophesying."
The
Lord has given me the bread of adversity and the water of affliction.
I have heard his word in my ears saying, "This is the way,
walk in it." I open my mouth and sing a new song, as in
the night when a holy solemnity is kept and gladness of heart,
as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the
Lord, to the Mighty One of Israel. I will sing unto the Lord
a new song. He awaits the true praises of those who sing spiritual
songs from the redeemed hearts of truth. He has made them free
and loosed them from tongues that can only speak what they have
learned. He has loosed them to sing and speak what he is saying
within them, for it is not they who speak, but he is speaking
in them by the testimony of Jesus Christ, which is the spirit
of prophecy. Because of unbelief, many are void of a true demonstration
of his power within them. They are faithless and of a perverse
generation. If I have faith as a grain of mustard seed, I shall
say unto my mountains, "Remove from here, and get up to another
place," and they shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible
unto me. I must seek him with prayer and fasting and then shall
I behold the miraculous hidden in the belly of impossibility.
There is too much of myself in the way. I must pray and fast
and then shall self be decreased. There is faith in me to fast
and pray. I allow faith to work this good work in me. God has
been merciful unto me, for I have sought him without trusting
in myself that I was righteous. I choose to love others and
then will my testimony before men and the Lord be an acceptable
testimony full of power. I allow the word of God to have free
course in me, and I will be delivered from unreasonable and
wicked men. All men do not have faith, but God is faithful.
He has established me. Now he will keep me from the evil that
has threatened me. I am confident in his promises as one who
has faith, always knowing that without faith, it is impossible
to please him. He that comes to God must believe that he is
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
I will not question his word, but I will receive it with an
open heart of love and trust.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
