SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.6.7 - #159

June 7, 2004

I have been motivated by the disbelief of others. The skepticism of men does not hinder the Lord from working in me. Though they distrust me, I am not persuaded to doubt the working of God's gifts in me. The misgivings of men have prevailed against many because they listened to the voices of spirits speaking in their ears and doubted his word. I do not have any doubts about his word and his promises because of these voices. This is all part of the warfare. My weapons are not carnal, but my weapons are mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. He has sent prophecies unto me. I take up these prophecies, and by them, I war a good warfare. I endure hardness as a good soldier. I disengage myself from the affairs of this life and then will I be able to be an effective soldier of his. No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life that he may please God, who has chosen him to be a soldier. The words spoken in my ears are established. I trust them, for they are faithful. They are the fruit of an experience that he authored. I did not ask for this relationship. He gave it to me. He offers it to all of his sheep, but not all accept it. Because others have falsified the voice of the Lord, does not mean that he is a fake. He is real and so is his voice. His true sheep hear it, and the voice of another they will not follow. Hearing the voice of God is the most fundamental principle of true faith. Abraham and Christ heard the voice of God so shall all of Christ's true seed. He is bringing the others that are outside of this fold into the sheepfold. They shall hear his voice and shall follow his voice. I worry not about those who do not believe in the voice of the Lord and the Rhema word. They are not his, for his sheep hear his voice. If they know him, they know his voice. He stood at my door and knocked. I heard his voice because I am his. I opened the door, and he came in to me. Now I am supping with him. The hour is coming when the dead shall hear the voice of God. If I cannot hear the voice of God while I am alive, then I will not hear it when I am dead unless it is unto judgment. I marvel not because some do not follow me. They do not understand God's speech because they cannot hear his word. They are following thieves and robbers. Those who know his voice shall follow. The true sheep will not hear the voice of thieves and robbers, neither shall they hear the voice of blind leaders.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
