I
am fully persuaded that God cannot lie, and I draw near to him
with total confidence in his word. God's word has gone forth
out of his mouth and will not return to him unfulfilled. If
I have made peace with him, I walk with him in total agreement
with what is written in heaven. I must open my mouth, and say
what God has said if I have resolved my differences with him.
My faith should bind me to him in total agreement so that we
may walk together. It should always draw me toward him and never
allow me to go from him. It should lead me in the path of righteousness
at all times. The still waters should always be in focus because
of the goal of faith. If I have true faith, I should be fixed
on his purpose and his way. One of the goals of faith is to
agree with the truth of what has been declared by God while
resting on his authority and reality. I do not need any other
evidence other than to know that what he has said is the truth.
I believe.
Many
of the Lord's people find it easier to disagree with him and
agree with the adversary. They are people in whom there is no
faith. They are a froward generation, and God will hide his
face from them. He is provoked unto jealousy, for they romance
the strange gods of unbelief. They open their mouths and call
God a liar, for they do not believe his word. They have allowed
an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the Living God,
to be their counsel. They have obeyed their own hearts instead
of his voice. God has said, "Obey my voice, and I will be
your God. You shall be my people, and walk in all the ways that
I have commanded you so that it may be well unto you." Many
have not taken a sincere notice of what God has said. They have
not inclined a listening ear to his voice but have walked in
the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart. They
have gone backward and not forward. They have become hardened
in their hearts through the deceitfulness of sin, not holding
the beginning of their confidence steadfast unto the end. I
will go and say in their ears, "Today if you will hear the
voice of God, harden not your hearts as in the provocation."
I cannot be a part of his bride if I grieve him. God desires
to say concerning me, "This is my beloved son, in whom I
am well pleased." Without faith, it is impossible to please
God. I look up into the heavenly places and notice that the
heavens are opened unto me. He dwells within me, and he is speaking
inside of me. I will not listen to another testimony when I
have access to Jesus' testimony within me.
Many
have evil framed against them because they have not walked by
faith. They framed for themselves unbelief instead of a good
report. Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed
by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made
of things which do appear. Faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I testify as a righteous
man, for the testimony of an unrighteous man does not please
God. By faith, Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice
than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous,
with him testifying of his gifts, and by it, he being dead,
yet speaketh. I open my mouth, and speak the word of God that
I should live by, for man does not live by bread alone but by
every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. He has given
me the Rhema of God. Now I open my mouth and speak what God
has so graciously given unto me. The Rhema of God has creative
power. He made the heavens and all the host of them by the breath
of his mouth. He made the earth by his power and established
the world by his wisdom. He stretched out the heavens by his
discretion. He uttered with his voice, and a multitude of waters
came forth. He made lightnings with rain and brought forth the
wind out of his treasures. God made all things, and without
him, was not anything made that was made. I open my mouth and
say what he has said then shall I be turned from all these vanities
and voices of other gods unto serving Jesus, the Living God.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
