SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.3.17 - #77

March 17, 2004

The voice of confidence and power speaks unto me today. Jesus is the voice of the Lord. In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the Lord, and he does not change. He is the miracle worker for the children of Israel. He has not changed. The Lord is preparing tables in the wilderness of the last days. He is supplying water out of rocks. Jesus is the "I AM THAT I AM." He is my confidence. I rely on him and not on what I think about him. I do not know him well enough to base my faith in my knowledge of him. I cast my confidence totally on him. He who comes to God, must first believe that he is and that he is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him. He has said, "I will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly." I walk in the righteousness of faith and not in the unrighteousness of faith in my own faith. I behold the uprightness of the walk of the Lamb of God. I behold his completed work as the sacrificial lamb. He completed his work in the earth. Now I struggle no longer with my emotions that run to and fro before Jesus' throne in an attempt to impress him. He is not impressed by anything that I do except to believe. I have faith in God. I have asked for a miracle. I trust the Lord to give me a miracle. I have searched my life for qualifications. I have searched for reasons to be blessed in such a magnitude. Ten dollars and ten million dollars are the same to the Lord. He has come looking for faith in me. He gave me the measure of faith, which is in me.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
