SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.2.28 - #59

February 28, 2004

The hour is late. I will go and sound the alarm. I purpose to go and show forth the correct testimonies in the presence of the holy. God has set a trumpet to my mouth. Now I sound the alarm. He says, "Sound the alarm, and fear not the attitudes and expressions of those who are drunk on the wine of unbelief." He has given me "hard-headed" faith. I do not fear their faces, and I do not look at the intimidating eyes of hate. The Lord has made my faith hard headed. I will not turn back in the day of battle, but I shall see them fall in the day of battle as Saul fell. I look to the end of this journey, and I behold those who stand beside the banner of love on high. I look to the end of this journey, and I behold those who wear the garment of praise at the end. God has placed the garment of praise upon me. Now I will not wear the garment of heaviness again. I look to the author and the finisher of my faith. My author has not come to me and promised rejection. He has come and sealed the completion of the work that he started. God started a good work in me, and he will perform the work. I have looked to myself and found emptiness. I will come from the self-centeredness of my own mind, and I behold the power of my God and the promise. He has promised. He will perform what he promised. I look unto the completion of the work. I have looked at the adversary long enough. I look away from his show in the dark. His demonstration of actions without power to carry out his plan has fallen to the ground. Now I look at the slain warriors of evil in the distance, and I behold the church rejoice on the tombstones of evil persecutors. Jesus is the Lord. He does all things well. He will not do a bad work in my presence when he has promised me revival and victory. I come to the table of victory again and eat its bread and drink its wine. I must not be drunken on the wine of this world, but I will be drunken on the Holy Ghost. There is revival in my bosom. I shall go on to the activity of the Spirit, and I will behold the wind of a new Pentecost.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
