SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.2.17 - #48

February 17, 2004

The day of rejoicing is given to me. God has shielded me from the grief and despair that sought to wrestle me from the foundation of joy. He has allowed grace to lift me into the expression of great joy and victory. The way of holiness is mine. He has taken away the lions and the serpents that sought to distract me from the purpose. He has sent his standard into their presence and resisted them. Though these things are loose in the earth, he has hidden me from them. I purpose not to be weary in well doing. I am reaping now. The Lord has light for me today; therefore, I will not be afraid to trust the way before my feet. It is not a strange path. It is a simple path. It is the path that God has chosen for me. I determine to walk in the light of love, and I will not fulfill the fears planned by seducing spirits. God has overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil; therefore, I will not be moved from the hope in me. He is the light of the world, and I do not walk in the darkness of unbelief. I walk in the light of love and faith. I come into this mighty river before me. These waters are waters to swim in. These waters are alive. Their flow is pure and right. In these waters, I will be washed again in the love of God. I trust the relationship that God has fostered. He has not given me a vain relationship, but he has given me a relationship bathed in the love of God. Now I will go and bathe someone else in his love. I will allow my words to flow from the Lord, and I will see great and mighty things that I do not know. I will go and rest, and I will come forth refreshed. I will be a refreshing to the people.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
