SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.2.8 - #39

I worship in the beauty of holiness. I worship with a heart filled with contentment and godliness. Now will my eyes see clearly and my mind reason with the oil of clarity and wisdom. I look unto the Lord and behold his joy. There is no sadness in him. He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, but now sorrow and sadness have passed away in the grave where he descended. He left those things there. The Holy One was not suffered to see corruption, neither was he left in the clutches of sin and bondage. His victory is now my victory. His belly contained death, but he swallowed it up in victory. The sting of death is forgotten, and the strength of sin is withered. The power of the grave only has dominion over those who choose to go there without him. Hell's domain and its fire are only seen through God's word by those who have accepted the invitation of grace and its escort to the chambers of marriage where our King and Husbandman await my hands of willing obedience.

I look up, my redemption draws nearer than ever before. I look up. The arms of the redeemer reach for arms caught up by Resurrection's power. The voice of redemption prepares to sound. The light of glory shines in my heart to prepare me for the great catching away of saints in his own body. I leap for joy because of the love of God that has revived in me. Now my reason for serving the Lord is motivated by that love and not because of the servant attitude of one outside the house. The Lord desires me to live with him as a lover and not as a slave. A slave does not know what the Master does, but I know because I am espoused to him through his name and his blood.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
