SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.2.6 - #37

February 6, 2004

The expressions from the princes of spiritual compromise have slain many while they have listened to the voice of false favor and vanity. God has granted me a love for the truth that I may be able to stand and not fall into the hands of deception from the devil, neither into the hands of the Lord's accurate delusion that awaits those who love not the truth. I prepare to give my life for truth. Many have given their lives for lies. Those who give their lives for lies have no mercy waiting to escort them to finished redemption. Those who give themselves for truth shall never lose in the end. If I lose my life for the gospel, I will surely save it. I will stand for that which is right, and my honor in heaven shall be great. If I give my life for a lie, I will be dishonored in this life and in hell. It is not enough to hear the voice of the mockers in this life, but to hear the screams of the damned forever, is more than anyone can bear. I will bear the reproach of the cross, for it is bearable because of God's grace. I will allow grace to sustain me in this time of decision for truth and righteousness. I have the kingdom, but my search for righteousness must continue. I will follow righteousness wherever it leads.

I have come into the presence of the Lord's consuming fire. Now I shall leave the bonds of unrighteousness in the ashes of sacrifice. I must learn to die daily if I am to continue along this path of righteousness for his name's sake. I behold those who have forsaken this path and walked in the paths of unrighteousness. They are now the testimonies of goats, speaking corruption that speaks louder than the pillar of salt of Lot's day. Corruption is speaking in this present hour. If I will not hear God's word, I will surely hear the voice of corruption with its winds of famine and death. Life is speaking today. I hear the voice of life, and I follow life as it leads me away from the war on the front-line of battle.

God is leading me to the place of victory already won. I have run to the one who has already placed all things under his feet. I have run to the light that has already separated itself from all darkness. I have run to the head of all principalities and powers that has already caused all these enemies and their armies to bow. I have run to God, and he will give me rest from the wars fought by those who are corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. The Lord offered me life and a life free of the pains suffered by David and Bathsheba. Their lives were for my admonition. I live in heavenly places unaffected by the lust and pride of earthly kings and queens. Here in the presence of the Lord, the joy of submission to his lordship is an expression full of joy and triumphant rule with him in this life and in the life to come. God has invited me into the courts of peace. I give him my hand as I walk around this array of defeated warriors. I look at them from this position, and I see that they do not know where I am, for here, I am hidden in God. I have come to God. Now I will go with him, for there are souls to be won.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
