SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.2.4 - #35

February 4, 2004

Many have already been hooked by the device of error and have given their hearts to the lasciviousness of error. I run from the chambers of human royalty and honor by men. The rewards given by men are full of substances that form hearts of pride and lust for more power. God has sent his word in written form and has brought it unto me in the spirit. I will not lay with the false system of error. It has come to seduce me in an attempt to draw me from his arms of love and honor. I purpose not to give my honor and my crown for spiritual adultery. The Lord has shown me the future. Spiritual Bathshebas have come to the forefront of the battle and joined in with distraction on the front line. The Bathshebas of the hour are teaching God's people to commit spiritual fornication. I will not listen to her voice and be drawn away after her enticement.

The Lord has opened my eyes to see the devices of enticement used by the enemy. I have grace to defeat all these things; therefore, I will not lean to my own understanding, neither will I attempt to stand alone. The iron of others shall keep me sharp and alert for the contention with the subtlety of the enemy. The mighty have fallen in this kind of battle. Grace is given, and revelation is imparted so that I do not fall with the wise and the prudent. Only those with childlike hearts and faith shall walk through the front-line of Bathsheba's wave of lust and beauty. There was a spirit speaking through the serpent. There was a spirit speaking through Bathsheba. There is a spirit speaking through the false prophets and the false teachers. I have heard the voice of the truth, and my weapons of war shall not fall to the dungeons of spiritual poverty and defeat.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
