SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

OF FAITH

Words of Light Upon the Face of Fleshly Disabilities

December 28, 2004

I can believe all things are possible. The things that seem impossible are no match for my God. He desires to enlarge my faith so that I may experience victory over these things. I do not know how he turned water into wine. I do not need to know how in order to believe. With God, all things are possible. There is nothing too hard for him. I believe in God. He is faithful, and it is impossible for him to lie. Faith is the substance of the things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By faith, the elders received a good report. Faith is real. It is not imaginary. It is concrete. It is not barren. Faith is very fertile and productive. When one possesses faith, he is wealthy. Faith has tremendous ability. Its power is greater than mental or physical power. One who has faith has the means to obtain riches, wealth, and miracles. Faith will furnish the power to accomplish anything. By faith, I can transfer all that Jesus owns to myself. Faith gives me the power to do what he has said I could do. Greater works than what he has done are possible by faith. It gives me the power to inherit. He has not created me with a disability. Faith is directly opposed to the disability that I am combating within myself. All things are possible if I believe. This disability is defeated.

God is all-sufficient and able to make all grace abound toward me. He is the power working in me. He is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that I ask or think. The power is working in me right now. I will not submit to the disabilities of my flesh, for he has given unto me exceeding, great, and precious promises. I am a partaker of the Lord's divine nature. His divine nature works in me at all times. I consider the capacity of his divine nature, and I will not notice the disability of my flesh. God's ability is immeasurable. It is incomprehensible. I take the limits off my confidence in him, and I behold the door of miracles open to me. I know that I believe that he can do all things, but I must believe that he will do all things if I ask him. I have allowed my misunderstanding of righteousness to frustrate my faith.

Abraham was a man just like I am. Moses was a man just like I am. Elias was a man subject to like passions as I am, yet he prayed that it might not rain, and it did not rain for the space of over three years. He prayed again, and it rained so that the earth brought forth fruit. All of their righteousness was like a filthy rag, yet God heard them because of their faith. He has given me the same faith. I have treated faith as a bad credit report. I cease analyzing faith. It does not rest on me or my ability. It relies on the truth of what God has said and done. The credit of faith lies totally on his worth, honor, and faithfulness. God cannot lie. I have need of activated faith. I have need of many miracles. When I ask, I will receive them, and I will receive it.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
