SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Confusion

December 20, 2004

I purpose to preach love in the face of hate. I purpose to preach peace when encountering the expression of confusion. I purpose to preach grace while I stand in front of humiliation. I am determined to preach long-suffering in confronting intolerance. I will preach God's power when I discern countenances of weakness. I will preach joy as a remedy for sadness. I am determined to preach righteousness during this onslaught of wickedness and indecency. I must preach his goodness, for it will lead men to repentance. Many are wayward because there has been a famine of true goodness among his people. While many are gluttonous for that which appears good, the Lord's people have been forced to eat this emptiness from the mouths of letter filled preachers. The letter kills, but the spirit gives life. I choose not to die with the masses, which are killed at the tables of death while they seek life in the ditches of religion.

Jesus sends me with grace filled lips. I will let my speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt so that I may know how I ought to answer every man. I was given a testimony of the word of his grace. It was preached in my ears, and it has lifted me above every storm, every mountain, every obstacle, and in every trial. In my valleys, the word of his grace has spoken unto me. He will not give a word of condemnation to others in despair and in their time of need. I purpose to go and recommend others to the grace of God. He has made me fairer than the children of men by pouring grace into my lips.

I am blessed forever. No one can take the blessing of Abraham from me, for my blessing is Christ in me, the hope of glory. He is my sun and shield. He has given me great grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from me, for grace is given to me, and it enables me to walk uprightly. He has given grace unto the lowly. I will let my lips be filled with grace, and the king shall be my friend. I go forth and cry, "Grace, grace unto the people's troubles." Grace is poured upon the people. They have the spirit of grace and supplications. The Lord's grace is upon them. They have not received the grace of God in vain. Many are not abounding in grace because they have not heard it preached. I will go and preach the grace of God. I have been given traveling grace, and he is able to make all grace abound toward me so that I always, having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. His grace is sufficient, and his strength is made perfect in weakness; therefore, I do not fear in my time of weakness. His strength is working for me. I was called by his grace. Now I allow Jesus to reveal himself in me so that I might preach him among the people. When others perceive the grace that is given to me, they will give me the right hand of fellowship; therefore, I do not worry about those who deny me fellowship. Their rejection of me is of him, for he has rejected them, and they are void of the true grace of God. I do not frustrate his grace, for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. He has freely given me grace. He resists the proud but gives grace unto the humble. My wife and I are heirs together of the grace of life. I must strive to dwell with her according to knowledge, giving honor unto her as unto the weaker vessel, and my prayers will not be hindered.

I have received the gift of grace. Now I go and minister the same grace to others, and I will be a good steward of this manifold grace of God. I choose to submit myself to others. I must humble myself under God's mighty hand, and he will exalt me in due time. I cast all my cares upon him. He cares for me. Grace and peace have been multiplied unto me, and God's divine power has given unto me all things that pertain unto life and godliness. I rejoice in the face of my lack. An abundant blessing has been sent forth. God's kingdom has come. It has not come in word only, but it has come in power. His kingdom is filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in his Spirit. It is not here, nor there, but the kingdom of God is within me. His kingdom rules over all. I look on his right hand. There comes the right hand of his power on my behalf. I rejoice and am exceeding glad.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
