Words
of Light Upon the Face of Vanity
December
8, 2004
The Lord summons me to make a good confession. I rise up, and
fight the good fight of faith. I cannot win this war without
a good confession and profession. The weapons of my warfare
are not carnal, but they are mighty through him. These weapons
are strong in the pulling down of strongholds, casting down
of imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself above
his knowledge. Through ignorance, the enemy has seduced God's
people and influenced them to make negative confessions. I will
go and remove this ignorance from my midst. He is the mighty
God in them, but they speak as though he was not among them
or in them. They bring shame to his name as they belittle his
presence and his power in his body. He is greater than the one
in the world, yet they act as though they are without him when
they are placed on trial. It is in the fiery trial that he should
shine brighter than the noon day sun. He is the Sun of Righteousness.
I will not allow the shade of trouble to cover my mouth and
prevent me from making a good profession.
The
darkness that trouble has covered the earth with does not affect
God's ability to shine. He is the Light of the world. Nothing
or no one shall prevent him from shining. I am determined to
arise and pray for my enemies and my friends then God will turn
my captivity. I pray for them, and he will open the windows
of heaven and pour me out blessings untold. I go to the sanctuary
and eat the manna from heaven with gladness and faith. He has
given me manna in a time of a famine of the hearing of the words
of God. Many people have the word of God, but not very many
are hearing the words of God fresh from his mouth. Man shall
not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out
the mouth of God. The spirit gives life, but the letter kills.
Men would not rise up to kill me if they had words from God's
mouth that gives life. They rose up to slay my name because
they had the letter, which kills. I purpose to pray for them
that their eyes would see, their ears would be opened, and their
hearts would no longer be hardened. The spirit of slumber has
been given to them. They are sleep walkers who kill in their
slumber. They are drunk, and their minds and hearts are darkened.
Their table has been made a snare, a trap, a stumbling block,
and recompense unto them. He has darkened their eyes so that
they cannot see. I purpose not to be wise in my own conceit,
but I am humbled that he has opened my ears and eyes and given
me a heart that is not waxed gross. He took away my sins. I
look to the depths of the riches of his wisdom and knowledge.
His judgments are unsearchable, and his ways are past finding
out. No one has known his mind. He has not counseled with anyone.
I
do my best to not walk in the vanity of my mind, for if I walk
in the vanity of my mind, I will have my understanding darkened,
and I will be alienated from the life of God through the ignorance
that is in me because of the blindness of my heart. I received
him by faith, now I walk in faith. The truth is in him, Jesus.
If I have heard him and been taught by him, then I put off the
works of the old man, for he is corrupt according to deceitful
lusts. I put on the new man, which is created in righteousness
and true holiness.
I
must let no corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth but
that which is good to the use of edifying so that it may minister
grace unto the hearers. I open my mouth wide and confess a good
confession. The word is nigh me even in my mouth and in my heart,
that is, the word of faith, which I preach; that if I shall
confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in my
heart that God has raised him from the dead, I shall be saved.
With the heart, I believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth,
confession is made unto salvation. Whosoever believes on him,
shall not be ashamed. He is rich unto all that call upon him.
Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
He has sent me preachers, and I have heard of him. I have called
on him. He did not make the preacher's feet beautiful in vain.
They have preached the gospel of peace and brought glad tidings
of good things. I rise up and confess the things that I have
heard from the mouth of my preachers. Because I have heard,
then I rise up and make a good confession. I will not be ashamed.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
