SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Confusion

December 7, 2004

I have received power, for the Holy Ghost has come upon me. His great power is in me. I am not defenseless. He is my battleaxe. Though the world is reeling because of the blows of trouble being swung throughout it, there is no power shortage in God. He has all power and a name that is above every other name. At his name, every knee bows. All things bow at the speaking of his name whether they are principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, or angels. I will not be disturbed because of the things that are happening in the world. There must be wars and rumors of wars. The end is not yet. There is work to do. I lift up my voice, and preach the gospel. It is the good news for a bad time. Men seek peace, but there is no peace without the Prince of peace, the only Potentate. The Lord is my peace. By his blood, I have access into the throne room. In his presence, there is fullness of joy, and on his right hand, are pleasures forevermore.

The power of man will fail. Men and their agreements will be broken, and confusion shall spread like a cancer. His power is the only power that will not fail. He has the power to keep his covenants and enforce his word. I will not be drawn away by the weak and beggarly elements of the day, but I will be steadfast and immovable in the ways of the Lord. I will be fully persuaded that this is the only way to salvation. He has not created many ways to be saved. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes unto the Father except by Jesus. If men attempt to come any other way, they are thieves and robbers. No one is good except God. The power of his goodness will not fail, for it is full of integrity. There is no darkness in God. He is light, and in him, there is no shadow of turning. He has given me power to use his name. I have been invested with authority. I will not be reluctant to use my authority. God has given me love so that I may know how to use my authority. I have full power to cast out devils, to lay hands on the sick so that they may recover, and to speak and change things by my words. This is my right and my privilege. This honor has been given to all his saints. Jesus is the power of God in me, Christ the power of God.

Satan introduced sin, which is the cause of death. I will not allow him to introduce sin into my life, but by grace, I set up a resistance to sin by my love for God. If I love him, then I will keep his commandments. He has given me power to act on his behalf. I am not afraid to use my authority. The Lord has given me all the qualifications necessary to operate in this position. I have been counted righteous. I have been justified by faith. I open up my mouth and allow God to speak through me. I have compared myself to the problems long enough. I compare God to the mountains and troubles of the day. They are small things when compared to God. I will go and transfer the wealth of the sinner to the bank accounts of the just by my words. I dispose of my doubts, for his word is gone out of his mouth, and it will not return unto him void. God has given me the ability to inherit wealth. Now I receive it in his name. He is the all-sufficient God. He is complete and infinite in ability. He will enforce his word that is gone out of my mouth. I believe.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
