SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Words of Light Upon the Face of Hypocrisy and Counterfeit Love

December 1, 2004

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. If I walk in him, the truth and life shall be mine. I am made free, and life more abundantly has abounded to me. He has given me his spirit and shed his love abroad in my heart. The way to love is manifested in my heart. I choose to follow after God's love, and my faith will be worked by the love of God and not after the way of man. His love is exempt from decay and corruption. It is pure and filled with integrity and honesty. The wholeness of his love is entire and not lacking in any area. God's love is not adulterated, for it is genuine. I hear the language of his love today, and I know that it is understood in every speech. The language of his love brings a new confidence to those who have lost assurance because of the darkness of trouble in the world. God's expression will lead the way in the restoration of broken relationships. He has called me friend. Now I go and make friends.

Many speak a foreign language, a language not comprehended by others. Their verbal communication is not understood, for their actions are confusing. The language of love is without hypocrisy. The Lord has sent me into the world to be a model of his love, not a model of power. The model of love is not a paradigm of one receiving but of one giving. God loved the world and gave his only begotten son. The world cannot know I am of him if I don't give my best.

My love is corrupt if I present the world with a prototype of selfish love. God's love is the first of its kind. The world does not know the love of God outside of the love of Jesus Christ. If any man has not the spirit of Christ, he is not his. God has put his spirit in me so that I may show the world true love. I will hide him no longer behind my veil of insincerity. My double standards are a stench in his eyes and nostrils. This disgusting odor is a shame to anyone called by the name of Jesus. I determine not be two-faced and represent him. There is a high price to be paid for buying into hypocrisy. It taste good to the flesh, but it is costly in the end. God hates double standards. I will not masquerade this form of love in his presence and survive the law of sowing and reaping.

I cannot say that I am honest while living a double standard. God has not sent deceivers into the world, and he will not tolerate insincerity. Insincerity is artificial and plastic. The world will never be reached by those bearing double standards, for God will not dwell among them. I open my mouth. I cry aloud and make known the truth of his love, and I will have no part with this dishonesty. God told Abram to walk before him and be perfect. He has also said unto his church, "Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect."

I will continue to manifest powerless ministries that are filled with many words and no Godly signs if I persist in double standards. I will not minister for the applause of men, but I minister to please God. I want God to be pleased with my ministry today.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9
