SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

OF FAITH

Series 2.11.7 - #311

November 7, 2004

Jesus is the light of the world. The whole world lies in wickedness and darkness. He has sent me to be a light unto the world; therefore, I take heed to myself, and I forgive others as God has forgiven me. I cannot say that I am exercising real faith if I do not forgive my brother. I will go and shine the light of love as I show forth faith that will move the huge trees of unforgiveness in the earth. I cannot say that I have supped with God, when I am not plucking up the trees of unforgiveness. I will go and speak the word, and these trees shall be plucked up by their roots. The world will not behold the love of God if I am not thankful. If I am grateful for God's love toward me, then I will show forth the light of love unto others. The world awaits the light. When I have returned to God with a true heart of thanksgiving, then I will shine again, and give glory unto the Lord, my God. I come and dine with him. I come to eat and drink. He has knocked on my heart. I answered the knock. Now I sit down, and sup with him. He has a chief meal to serve me. He has spiritual communion awaiting me. I will not express the fruit of the cup of the New Testament in Jesus' blood, if I do not come to the table of prayer and fellowship with him. He ate the Passover with the disciples before he suffered. He knew he would suffer; yet he ate the Passover with them. I have drawn back from fellowship with him because of my sufferings. I come and dine again. There is fresh bread and fresh wine for me. I offer thanks today, and I express the fruit of my lips as I give thanks unto his name. He has granted me the benefits of the cup of the New Testament in his blood. I give thanks for the many benefits that I have.

Jesus is the Lord, my God and the Messiah. His blood has made a way for me. I behold the blood of communion today, and I realize that it has paved an open highway for me. There are no roadblocks on this highway. It is the highway of holiness for the redeemed. Only the redeemed are walking here. Only those who are bought by his blood are walking here. I have imagined that the officers of hindering things will prevent me from the goals set before me. I cast down these imaginations sent from the devil. Jesus has not brought me to the highway of his blood to hinder me in obtaining the blessings of goodness and satisfaction. He is satisfying my mouth with good things. I eat the bread of victory, and I rise up with the wings of an eagle. I rise up with a youthful attitude that has been renewed like the eagle. I travel no longer along the pathways of fear and regret. I soar above this pit that was dug for those who have not the faith of Jesus Christ. The faith that is in me has a frame for my blessings. I secure the frame from faith's heart, and place it on my desired vision. I lift my eyes from the pit of defeat. God has not shown me the rejections along the pathways before me. An enemy has projected these things. I ignore the adversary's billboards. I tune out the voice of his broadcasts. The wind of his storm shall not affect the outcome that God has planned for me. God has designed only victory and no shame.

I will go forth in the power of the spirit. I show forth the fervent praises of a redeemed man of God. I allow the light of confidence to shine. God has hidden his fist inside of my confident praises. I am unshackled by love, for his love shall work my faith. I am loosed in my mind. He has not allowed a thief to rob me of my dreams. Many dreams lay dead in this valley that I am traveling through. God spoke to many as they traveled this same path, but they did not believe. I will not listen to the voices of the serpents in the trees of the valley. These serpents are the children of Eve's enemy. I will not listen to their words lest they spoil my faith. I will listen to the voice of the spirit of God. I have ears. Now I hear what God is saying unto me. His blood has made a way for me. His blood has paid the debts I owed. Now no one will lay any charge to me, for I am his elect.

Jesus offered up the necessary sacrifice. Now no one will entice him not to give me all things. It is his good pleasure to give me the kingdom. It is also his good pleasure to add all things unto me. I receive the adding of the things that God has promised me. My dreams are alive. I behold them dancing as they await my arrival on the shores of hope. My dreams live. I behold them running along the rivers of faith. My dreams are alive. They are furnished with the life from above. God has energized my dreams with the power of the resurrection, and the voice of death cannot shut them up in the graves of failure.

I will go and speak the word. My words shall assure others that true dreams never die. God has come to show me that there are living dreams among the people. The enemy has wrapped many minds with the grave clothes of failure. God has given me power to unravel the cords of confusion. The cords of confusion have been used by the enemy to fashion clothes of failure. I will go and preach the word, and God's word shall unravel these cords, and the people shall be loosed. I will go and say, "Your dreams are alive. Behold them as they run. Your dreams live. Behold the dancing dreams of today and tomorrow."

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
