SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2_#30

January 30, 2004

God has not relinquished me to myself, nor to the will of my enemies. He has invested much in me, and he will protect me from all harm. No one will harm me if I continue to follow that which is good. I will follow peace with all men and holiness and then will I enjoy my fellowship with God without the estranged feelings from the darkness of my emotions. I will see the Lord clearer as I follow in this manner. He is not visible to those who have impure hearts. He is not visible to those who do not follow after peace with all men and holiness. Moses saw him, who is invisible. Man does not have power over his invisibility, but he allows some who are spiritual to see as Moses saw.

The voice of the enemy seeks to discourage me and turn me from faith. There is no place for me to turn if unbelief becomes my destination. Unbelief is evil. It is a disease that spoils the heart and blinds us to the vision of the Lord. I will shun even the appearance of unbelief. God is faithful; therefore, I trust as a child, and I do not yield to the effects of the voice waves of the spirit of antichrist. God has given me much; therefore, much is required of me. He has restored my lost desire for much prayer. Grace has leaped into my path again and arrested me one more time. By grace, I will not flee again unto the chambers of carnality and worldliness. I have said in times past, "When have I run to worldliness?"

The pride of life is of the world. The lust of the eye and the lust of the flesh are of the world. I will choose prayer and fasting as a life-style, and I will behold the weakness of the world and its fruit fall at my feet in the baskets of spoil. I will allow the world's fruit to spoil on its vines. I do not eat the trash and putrefaction of things that are passing away. I eat from the tree of life, for God has fresh fruit that I have never tasted. He is giving me a new appetite for spiritual things. I receive of it now, for he placed it within me by his spirit. I lift my hands and give thanks. He is the Lord, my God.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
