SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2_#24

January 24, 2004

Much vanity is in the world. By grace, I will not be deceived with vain words. I will go from the presence of those who speak with vain words. The wrath of God will come upon these children of disobedience. I will not be a partaker with the children of disobedience. I am no longer in darkness. I am light in God, and I walk as a child of light. I will not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but I will reprove them. All things that are reproved are made manifest by the light. Whatever is manifested, is light. It is time to awake out of my sleep and slumber; therefore, I arise from the deadness of my traditions. God has given me true light. I understand what his will is, and I will not be foolish in this hour. I am filled with the Spirit. I speak to others in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in my heart to God. I prepare myself for the city he has made. Its streets are pure gold. The city has no need of the sun or moon to shine in it. God is the glory that lights it. God has shown me a pure river of water of life. I behold the throne of the Lord before me, and I walk up to him, my blessed hope, and I receive the blessings of his goodness. I repent and return to the fellowship of love. He is my bright and morning star. I am thirsty; therefore, I come to the Lord and drink the water of life freely.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
