SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2_#19

January 19, 2004

God allowed nature to teach me how to survive in this life. I have learned nature's lesson, and I will not join the multitudes that are falling away and being devoured by the predators of the hour. Nature teaches me that there are wiles of evil outside of the light of good. I listen to the voice of wisdom and experience that is speaking to me plainly. I will not impose captivity upon myself, and I will enjoin myself unto the freedom that is graced unto me by the truth. God has not called me to be a wanderer. He has sent me to preach the gospel and make disciples of men. Many of the hazards that come to the people of God come to them because they are idle and unfruitful. They must add to their faith the necessary spiritual ingredients if they are to prevent blindness, falling, and unfruitfulness. Many are wandering from service to service and place to place without purpose and commitment. Vision must be allowed to enter into them. Vision has been cast, but many have willingly closed their eyes to vision while preferring lust and pride. I will go and sound the alarm concerning their ignorance to the devices of the enemy.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
