SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2_#17

January 17, 2004

God has given unto every man the measure of faith, and he tasted death for every man by the grace of God. Now by the grace of God, he brings the benefits of faith, faithfulness, and grace to their lives that they may continue to taste and see his goodness. His goodness shall abound. It shall reach for people and bring them unto the bosom of safety in his tower. I send the expression of the tower and join in the celebration of salvation. I will not be a spectator in the sanctuary. I will not give way to appearances of ingratitude and spiritual pride, but I will be a participant in the celebration of his body, for the Lord has sent a blessing unto his people by means of epistles known and read of the people. I lift my eyes unto the joy of the Lord in me. I lift my face unto the scepter of righteousness, which has been stretched forth unto me. He has made me glad. Now I go and serve the Lord with it, and now will I behold the power of the word on behalf of the Lord's name and his spirit. I go and proclaim the good word of God that is in me.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
