SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2_#10

January 10, 2004

God will not allow a liar to be a part with the true ministry of the church. He is seeking men full of integrity and honesty that he might impart true holiness unto the people that he is bringing into the church. I will not lean to my own understanding. The spirit of truth cannot lie. He is the Lord, and it is impossible for him to lie. I look to him, and I behold the vision of God for me and the church that he is building. I notice the huge mountains before my face. These mountains do not trouble the Lord. He is invincible, invisible, eternal, immortal, and everlasting. I look at his power and his strength. I know that nothing is too hard for him. He is able to do more than anything I can ask or think; therefore, I determine my faith by my confidence in his ability and the Lord, not by what I see. I see this side of the mountains, but he sees all at one time. I know of a truth, that he has decided in my best interest and his. I behold the influx of souls. God will do a work in response to this rejection that I will not believe. I know this, and I behold it happening speedily. I know of a truth, I have heard the voice of truth this day. I behold the influx of souls.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
