SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2_#3

January 3, 2004

This day is another day that God made for me to rejoice and be glad. He desires that I behold his beauty. I know of his faithfulness in my body. He dwells in earthen vessels. I behold the treasure that I have in my temple. I rejoice in the temple made without hands, and I behold the beauty of God Almighty. Abraham rejoiced to see his day. He was glad and rejoiced. He rejoiced because he truly believed in the Lord. I am sad because I have not truly believed on him as the scriptures have declared of him. Nevertheless, I will not allow circumstances to affect my response to God's day.

This is the day that the Lord has made. I rejoice in the making of another day. Though the day was here before I arrived, yet did the Lord, the Eternal God, make it. I lift my eyes from the futility of regret and difficult circumstances. God has lifted the clouds from my head and brought me showers of blessings. I dance in the rain of blessings. Unless I behold the invisible rain of blessings of the future, I will tabernacle the memories of the past. I go to the tabernacle of memories, and I behold his goodness to me in the past. I remember the benefits of my salvation, the graciousness of his spirit, and the protection given to me in the times of trouble. I remember the security offered every moment and the goodness of my God at all times. I allow my praises to be continually in my mouth. When I have tabernacled the innumerable benefits of the past, then time will be no more. I will not finish counting before I worship because of who he is. I will not finish counting before I behold the invisibility of faithfulness to provide the rain of blessings being poured out in the spirit.

I open my eyes to the consistency of the Lord's nature. I behold the faithfulness of his love. He is the same as he was yesterday; therefore, I know of a truth, that his faithfulness today and in the future shall bring me the same rewards that mercy can easily afford. I rejoice, for God made this day for me to rejoice in it. I rejoice and bring him a sacrifice of praise. I pour out my feelings, my worries, my unbelief, my anger, and all my wasted efforts into the tank of sacrificial praise. When I have poured out all that I have into the tank of praise, then will I behold the fuel of faith supplying me with the power to arrive in the door of his faithfulness. I arise and worship, for the Lord desires to make me glad.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
