SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2_#2

January 2, 2004

God has not finished the work that he has started in me. He has begun a good work, and he will finish the good work he started. I rise up and fight the good fight of faith. I will not allow the circumstances to belittle me and bring me to the halls of confusion. The Lord is not the author of the attempt to drive me into the chambers before my face. These are chambers of confusion. I will not be driven into these places. An enemy has designed this for my defeat, but God shall take this doorway and turn it into the slaughterhouse of spirits. He shall wax great on my behalf. The enemy shall be defeated again at his own game. I look not to the things that seem too great for me. I simply look to the Lord, the author and the finisher of my faith. God has designed victory. Now I will show forth praise unto him, and he will dwell in these praises as a secret weapon against the enemy. I show forth the triumphant praises of my king, and he will show forth his strength against the enemy.

I do not look at the greatness of the problems, but I look at the awesomeness of my God. I compare the entire problem to him. The Lord is greater than the problem. Now I will show forth praises, and they shall be the fanfare for his glory. I show forth praises, and he will ambush these spirits that have attempted to mask the will of God. God is leading me. He is the good shepherd, not a bad shepherd. He knows the way I should take; therefore, I allow him to lead my life. I submit all things unto the Lord. I count all things lost and all things dung. I count nothing gain, and now will I be guarded from the subtlety of hatred. The spirit of hatred has studied me and my mannerisms. I look no longer to the arms of flesh for answers. I simply look to the arm of the Lord. He has revealed it to me. Now I show forth the strength of praise, and God will show forth the strength of his right arm.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
