SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:8-10)

A LOAF OF CONFESSIONS

Confession of Faith - #176

Jesus is Lord, and he does not change. Though men change, he does not. His word is sure and steadfast. It is forever settled in heaven. I can count on his word, for it is inevitable. His word is gone out of his mouth and will not return to him empty or void. He has brought me the bread of the morning, my daily bread. I will eat and be nourished. I will eat and be satisfied. An enemy has attempted to beguile me. God has said, "Be not beguiled. The bread that I have given is the manna of the last days." There is a famine of the hearing of the words of God, but God has prepared me a table full of manna. I will eat and become strong. God has chosen me to feed the children the bread of the last days. I will not doubt the words that I hear in my ears, for they are the words of the Father. Man did not call me. Man did not choose me. God called and chose me for his own purpose and according to his own will. I did not author this relationship. God did. I will not doubt. I will simply believe. I will not be frightened because of the terror of men. God is inside of me to answer them. It will not be me that speaks, but Christ will speak through me. God knew me before he formed me in my mother's womb. I was selected by the foreordination of God Almighty. I determine to prepare myself to speak all of the words that he gives me. I will not be afraid of the faces of men, for God is with me to deliver me out of every snare of man.

Confession of Faith - #177

God has touched my mouth this morning with a fresh touch of the anointing and has placed fresh words in my mouth. I will go and root out, pull down, destroy, throw down, build, and plant. God has given this power to the prophets of the last days. Jeremiah is not here any longer, but God is the Spirit that was speaking in him. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He speaks in men today to perform the things that he wills. God has hastened his word to perform all that he has planned. He is against the false teachers of the hour. He will hasten his judgment upon them, and they shall be destroyed, for they are causing God's people to err. God has said, "The gates of hell will not prevail against my church." Though the enemy has sent a flood of evil against his body, the enemy will not triumph over it. God has lifted up a standard against the enemy. I will draw out my sword and swing it valiantly. I will not be dismayed at the faces of those who seem to be. I will gather those whom the spirit of prophecy is in together and speak against this flood. I will dry it up with the words of my mouth. God has made the prophets of the last days a city protected by God. God has made them iron pillars and brazen walls. The enemies of prophecy shall gather themselves together to fight against me. They shall open their mouths against me to discredit me, but they shall not prevail against me, for God is with me to deliver me. I will not be afraid. I will go and dry up the flood with the words of my mouth.

Confession of Faith - #178

I yield my will and affections to God. I will humbly rely on God for salvation from whatever shall be. I will be careful, for many are turned unto unbelief and fear already. I purpose to apprehend my thoughts, and I conclude that God is in total control of the future. Jesus is my Lord. I am fully persuaded that he will keep me in the hour of the temptations that are coming upon the earth. I cease consulting those who know not God lest I am deceived by the spirit of antichrist, which is in them. God is not double-minded. He has not told me to trust in the spirit of antichrist and the spirit of Christ. He is the truth. He is the way. He is the life. Perilous times are already here. I must have faith in God and not doubt his faithfulness unto me. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Those who come to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. I believe that he is. I diligently seek him. Herein lies a secret to approaching uncertainty and fear with a heart filled with peace and confidence. I refuse the crowns of fear being offered in the world. I refuse the rewards of foolish thoughts by men of pride. God has come to me to grant me focus in an hour when his people need true peace. Many have placed their trust in men and themselves. GOD IS; therefore, I believe in God as Enoch believed in him.

Confession of Faith - #179

The tactics of the enemy are designed to turn me unto doubt, unbelief, and fear. I must not follow such voices that are oftentimes camouflaged as spiritual knowledge and insight into the unknown. I place my trust in the one who knows all things. This will please God. I place my hope in God, and he will translate me so that I will not see damnation. I place my hope in God, and I will not be found by the trouble that seeks all men. Trouble diligently seeks me. Now I diligently seek God. I diligently seek Jesus, the God of answers, and I cease consuming myself with seeking the why's and how's. The time spent on investigation involved in finding this solution and that solution should have been spent in winning the lost. Many have spent months seeking to preserve their lives while lost souls have thrust themselves into damnation without faithful witnesses. I have profited nothing by seeking to save my own life while those who need salvation are perishing. I know why I am here. I know why Jesus came. God's purpose has not changed because of unusual circumstances and uncertain things. He has come to seek and save that which is lost. That is my purpose.

Confession of Faith - #180

I go after the Lord, deny myself, take up my cross, and follow him. Through faith, I find my life and save it by losing my life for the Lord's sake. I am not profited anything if I gain the whole world and lose my soul. I cannot give, in exchange, anything for my soul. I am not ashamed of God's word and the Lord. I am not ashamed to stand up and say that I trust him with all my heart. I will be cautious so that I do not join the band of the fearful, who are really trying to save their lives. This is a very subtle temptation. If I gain my life, the whole world, and lose myself or become a castaway, then I have not advantaged anything. I will be watchful that I am not found looking back to unbelief and man's assumptions. I remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life, shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose his life, shall preserve it. Through faith, I will diligently seek the Lord, and I will be rewarded. I have used too much effort to preserve myself and too little effort to seek the Lord. God is not gratified when I do not seek to please him. I have learned that I have not considered that the Lord desires to be pleased. I read in the word of God that the Father said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." He desires to say the same concerning me. It is almost time for the Lord to catch away his bride; therefore, I walk by faith, and I will not see damnation. His bride will not be found because he will take her, for before her departure, she shall have this testimony that she pleased him. Without faith, it is impossible to please him. I come to the Lord. I believe that he is and that he is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him. By his words, I will be focused to please him during the trial of my faith, which is more precious than gold tried in the fire. The fire has come. I will now trust him to make me spiritually rich, clothe me with white raiment, and anoint my eyes with eyesalve that I may see. Through faith, I hear his words. He has spoken focus to my heart, mind, and spirit.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
