CHILDREN'S BREAD

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

Mark 7:27-28

The Framework of Love, a Yoke that Navigates Us unto the Green Pastures of Peace

By Moses Hightower

I have made my yoke available unto you. Take it upon you and learn of me.  As you learn of me, the desire for lowliness and meekness shall flourish and rest shall be your reward.  Do not struggle with the unnecessary burdens carried by so many. They have taken unto themselves another yoke and are made to bear heavy loads. I have supplied grace to follow me. The enemy will place his yoke upon you if you allow him.  Do not be joined to him by the collar of unbelief. The burden of an evil heart that promotes departure from me is given to everyone that wears his collar. His collar is an unequal yoke designed to steer you away from love. I have offered you my yoke.  It is a frame that is designed so that your load will be light and that the steering of your life would rest in the hands of love. You are steered by love, so do not despise the constraints that are for your benefit. You are given rest from the many days of adversity. Rest here in my easy yoke while the pit is dug for the wicked that oppress you.  I will not cast off my people. They are my inheritance and I am their help. Your soul is dwelling in silence.  You have looked backward and beheld how your foot was slipping. Behold how my mercy held you up and my voice of comfort delighted your soul.  It is evening time.  I have given rest in the light of the evening.  As an animal that has labored hard, I give you a space in my green pastures; therefore, submit to my constraining love and lie down to rest awhile in new pastures of peace. Look away from the battle, and look unto the victory already won by your burden-bearer.

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

Amos 3: 7 - 8

SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light upon the Face of Adversity, Burdens, Confusion, Oppression, and Unbelief

By Kenyetta Whitley

Jesus has made his yoke available unto me.  I will take it upon me and learn of him.  As I learn of him, the desire for lowliness and meekness shall flourish and rest shall be my reward.  I do not struggle with the unnecessary burdens carried by so many. They have taken unto themselves another yoke and are made to bear heavy loads.  The Lord has supplied me with grace to follow him. The enemy will place his yoke upon me if I allow him. I will not be joined to him by the collar of unbelief. The burden of an evil heart that promotes departure from the Lord is given to everyone that wears the enemy’s collar. His collar is an unequal yoke designed to steer me away from love.  The Lord has offered me his yoke.  It is a frame that is designed so that my load will be light and that the steering of my life would rest in the hands of love.  I am steered by love, so I do not despise the constraints that are for my benefit. I am given rest from the many days of adversity.  I rest here in God’s easy yoke while the pit is dug for the wicked that oppress me. Jesus will not cast off his people.  They are his inheritance and he is their help. My soul is dwelling in silence. I have looked backward and beheld how my foot was slipping.  I behold how his mercy held me up, and his voice of comfort delighted my soul.  It is evening time, and the Lord has given rest in the light of the evening.  As an animal that has labored hard, he has given me a space in his green pastures; therefore, I submit to his constraining love and lie down to rest in new pastures of peace. I look away from the battle and look unto the victory already won by my burden-bearer.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9
