Children's Bread

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

Fall On the Rock, Christ Jesus, and Allow Brokenness To Remove the Short-Circuit Created by Ingratitude

March 17, 2006

I have turned your heart toward me. When goodness does not lead you to repentance, then ingratitude has short-circuited your love for me. Fall on me, the rock, and be broken again, then will gratitude spring forth out of your brokenness. I have waited on your repentance, while pride and rebellion fought against you in a very subtle way. My mercy found you in a war with them and rescued you from their clutches. False prosperity has slain its tens of thousands. Do not die at the hands of false prosperity, for false prosperity is a destroyer. It has produced pride and rebellion in many. It came for you; however, my grace arrested you and brought conviction to your heart. Grace restored the things that the devourers ate up. Mercy looked at you through its eyes as righteousness looked down from its throne. Mercy reached forth its arms and embraced you. It pulled you unto itself. You would have been trampled under the feet of pride and rebellion but mercy saved you again.

My blessings make you rich, and they do not add any sorrow. Stewardship must be rooted and grounded in you, or goodness will spoil you. I have given you a right heart that you may be balanced in your thought life during the time of prosperity. Continue to give abundantly, and the abundant life that I came to bring shall never cease. Hoard up the things that I allow to come to you, and they shall be the quicksand that swallows you up. Consider others and their needs, and then will love pave a highway for you to walk on instead of a swamp for you to live in.

I have stretched forth the hands of grace and embraced you. Do not spurn the love that caused me to give you grace in abundance. The same love that caused me to go to Calvary for you has motivated me to save you from the hands of deceitful and wicked spirits that had hemmed you in. Because love lives inside of you, love made a way of escape in your temptation, and now you have been borne up on love’s wings. I have flown you out of the trap that was laid before you. Look down and back at your spiritual enemies. They were hungry for your blood and your name, but I have saved you and glorified my name that you wear; therefore, rejoice.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
