A Taste of the Cross of Death from the Platter of Grace

(Part 2)

I have said seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; therefore, cease your search for success and fame, then will all the things that I desire to send you become yours by the hand of multiplication. Success in Christ Jesus is not obtained as success is awarded to the worshippers of the gods of the world. You will stumble in the day if your faith is in self and human ability. Will you use human ability against principalities and powers of the regions of the darkness of this world?

Take unto yourself the whole armor of God. How will you wear the armor of God without the under garments of humility?

How will you wear outer garments of darkness and the armor of God also?

Will you wear the armor of God without casting off the outer works of darkness?

Who can eat at my table and the table of devils also?

The enemy has come to offer you his rewards on the platters of compromise. Remember that I have sent you to be a testimony of my power and my glory. Remember that you are my witnesses and not the witnesses of the enemy. Compromise is a deadly tactic of the enemy. It is aligned against my warriors to distract them from my goodness and mercy in order to smite from the back. Remember that compromise is a deadly enemy, not a harmless game or entertainment. Every spirit of the darkness is armed with the weapons of compromise. Beware, lest you sell the truth for empty rewards and the praises of man. You have taken up your spiritual weapons by the hands of trust. Continue to trust in me so that the weapons of your warfare may be swung with accuracy and confidence and not stilled by doubt and fear.

In the hearts of those who have allowed love to abide, there is peace in the face of judgment by the courts of the enemy. In the hearts of those who truly believe, life is not viewed by eyes that seek to save their lives, but true life is only viewed by those who are crucified with me and die daily. Those whose spiritual eyes behold the truth of following me will face their trials without fear and regret. Only my true disciples behold their burial with me as a joyful reproach. This joyful reproach is the sting of death to all worldliness and the security of a secure standing, abundant harvest, and eyes that are immune to spiritual blindness. Prepare for war as you enter into the harvest. An enemy desires you to enter into the harvest expecting a bed of ease because of a false concept of love. Prepare for war with principalities and powers, and rulers of the darkness of this world. These spirits will not give up their habitations without war. Put on the whole armor of God and rest in me, lest they wear you out in ignorant struggles. The enemy cannot run you down if you abide in the light. Who is it that will harm you if you are a follower of that which is good?

When the enemy singles you out for battle, will you turn back in the battle heat?

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

Words of Light Upon the Face of Enemies, Human Reasoning, and Unbelief
