Children's Bread

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

Living Bread For Strength To Resist Challenging Images

January 22, 2006

I have not brought you to waters that await you to poison you, neither have I brought you to a watery grave. I have brought you to the still waters of the spirit. Peer into the waters and behold the fish all about the waters. The waters are still and clear. Observe your image in the waters. Notice that I have allowed you to behold the clarity of the waters and the fish that reside therein. Do not be troubled by the false images that manifest themselves before your face. The false images are not in the waters, but they are reflected by the waters. You will not be harmed by the spirits whose images are reflected in these streams. The images that have sought to produce fear in your mind have no authority, neither do these images present a challenge too great for me. I have set forth the standard of the Lord in the face of the enemy. Now behold the manifestation of the standard of the Lord, which slays the enemy in your presence. Behold the conquering of the enemy’s army before your face. I have sent forth the blows of my right hand for your victory. Do not be intimidated any longer by the threat of this adversary. He is no match for my grace. My grace has supplied all that you need. Rise up with praise and behold the blow of the right hand of Judah on your behalf. The hour is late and the glory of God shines brighter than ever before. Do not doubt the manifestation of victory in the presence of your enemies, but be confident that love is acting on your behalf.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
