Daily Bread - March 23, 2005

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

The walls of your defense were erected long ago even before the foundation of the world, I erected the walls of salvation that would be your defense. You are secure within me, your walls. I cannot be torn down by the equipment of men or the spiritual forces of spirits. I am your security. No man can pluck you out of my hands. There is no instrument in the hands of your enemy that can be forged against you to pluck you out of these hands of security. You are secure in me.

I have placed my love in your heart. This love is a mighty weapon against the builders of the strongholds of the mind. The fear troop came against your mind to sabotage your faith, but my love cast out the entire troop. Look to the author and finisher of faith. Now run through this troop of fear without fear and trembling, for they are disarmed by your trust in me. I will not release them to bring the damage that they have threatened to bring. Their father is the father of lies, and their relatives are cohorts of high-tech embezzlement. They shall not embezzle your trust, for my word is settled and cannot be packed off by these spirits that have aligned themselves against you.

Come to these waters before you and drink. The life within these waters that I give you will supply you with the realness of victory and not the illusions of the enemy. I have not led you in a path of unrighteousness and defeat, but I have led you in a path of victory and success. The enemy cannot sabotage my efforts to bless you and to make a testimony of my greatness within you. The enemy has come in like a storm, but my standard is already against him. The forces and the voices of these forces, which ran into your mind, have been halted. This standard of mine is more than a traffic signal, but it is a wall of salvation where the lines of the enemy come to an end. The enemy cannot come beyond the line of my standard, for it is your wall of salvation and your building of refuge. Hide in this building, and know that you are in a mighty fortress. I am your refuge. You are hidden in the cleft of my hand. Lie still and rest, for you have been led in this path. Now you will know of my faithfulness and the power of grace to supply that which seemed so far off. I am near, just as the word of faith is nigh you even in your mouth and in your heart and in your mind. Rest in the security of the Lord, your God.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
