Children's Bread

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

Peace In the Lion's Den of Circumstances

March 16, 2005

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but their God delivers them out of every one of their afflictions. The den of lions becomes a place of rest for the righteous, but for the ungodly, a den of lions is place of judgment. Lift up your head unto the witnesses that await your defeat, for they shall be for a testimony of your deliverance. I will save by my own hand and give you a testimony of my faithfulness. Have the lions of the den eaten you?

Haven't you felt as though you were in a den of lions?

Don't you hear the constant roar of angry beasts in your ears?

Can't you envision the things that would leap from the rocks of this life upon your flesh to bring your soul down to shame?

How often have you looked upon the lions of circumstances and wondered who will deliver you out of the den of circumstances?

Why don't you rest in this den?

I have shut the mouth of circumstances and caused them to sleep. You can come nigh the lion of trouble and place your head upon it, for it is asleep. The roar of circumstances has diminished, and their sounds are no longer a threat unto your life, for I have silenced their roar with my words and my presence. Wait just a little while, and the morning of your deliverance shall arrive and then will I bring you out untouched by the teeth and claws of circumstances. You shall walk out untouched, and with great joy, shall you come forth in the presence of your enemies. I have prepared a table before you in their presence, and they shall be instruments of the symphony of my praise. I shall use the mouths of your enemies to give praise unto me as I deliver you from the den of circumstances.

I am Adam's creator and Daniel's rock, Ezekiel's wheel in the middle of a wheel, Isaiah's star, and David's heart. I am Abraham's father and your God. Worry not, for everything that has happened and everything that is happening is working together for the good because you love me and are called according to my purpose. The way that you take is known of me because I have ordered your steps. Even the steps of those who obey me not, are known of me, for I know all things. Do not allow the oppressive things to cause you to lose your faith, for these things are mere shadows that have penetrated into your thinking because of circumstances.

Behold the angel that stands in the sun, and let his brightness radiate unto you. The angel standing in the sun is the angel of deliverance, who has brought unto you the word of truth. I am the way, the truth, and the life. I have not stood under the brightness of wrath and taken the sins of the world only to stand by and allow those whom I have redeemed to be destroyed. By my hand and by my works, I have saved you from your sins. Now there is no judgment from the courts of the princes of this world that can declare the sentence of defeat and of death upon you. I have taken your sentence, and now I do declare unto you again the proclamation of victory. It is time for a celebration. I am ready to see you celebrate the reality of your faith. I am ready to take you beyond the substance of the things that you hope for and beyond the evidence of the things not seen. Behold my goodness with your eyes.

Behold my goodness in the dimension of your understanding. As you come out of the den of circumstances, look back to the fire that you were in. Its flames yet leap up for something to burn, yet you are still intact and not burned. The only thing that you left in the fire was the impurities of your own heart and spirit. I have used the fire of the enemy as a purifier of your flesh and of your spirit. Now look unto the holiness of God, and know of a truth, that there are new desires for holiness within you. "Holiness unto the Lord," shall be the cry from your heart, for I have placed within you a new desire to be like me, not judging others by their outward appearance but judging yourself in this time of grace, that your own heart might be purified so that you may see me as I really am.

I have brought unto you a cleansing of the heart, and now the things that have been the entrance way of sin are closed-off, and sin is detoured. Now holiness is the avenue unto your mind and the outcome of your works. Come with me, and I will show you that you are a new creature in me. Come with me, and I shall show you of the strength of your God within you. Lean not to your own understanding and then shall you see the manifestation of my holiness within you. Lean not to your own understanding, for there is a way that seems right. I have not led you into a way that seems right, but I have led you into a path of faith. Faith is not "a seemingly right" path, but faith is the right path. Walk in faith.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
