Daily Bread - March 14, 2005

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

My way is certainly not your way. If my way were your way, then you would have already perished. I have said no to many of your prayers and petitions because of my love and my divine plan for your life. When you gave yourself to me, I received you with no hesitation. I have not relinquished you to yourself again, but I hold fast to you willingly. I have plans for your life and your future that cannot be expressed with the words and ideals of your mind. Your mind cannot comprehend the will of God for your life, for your mind is from the origin of that which is finite. Be not troubled by what your mind perceives as postponement and delay, but look to the perception of the mind of Christ.

The distractions of the hour are from the inspiration of Satan. The storm of his war tactics cannot disrupt the peace that I am within you. I have brought the peace that produces rest and calm in the midst of the storm. Worry not, neither fret, for I have brought unto you the glorious gospel, which is the power of God unto everything that you need.

You have not preached in vain, neither shall I suffer you to be a castaway. I have not forgotten you, neither was my promises to you futile and empty. I have given you directions, and I will confirm my words unto you speedily. Look not upon the uncertainty of human reasoning, for you will not find the answer in that which is of the flesh. I have said unto you, "Have no confidence in the flesh, and trust not in the arm of flesh." Will the flesh of man fail you?

Can trust in that which is weak in the face of impossibility become your strength in the time of trouble?

Lean not to your own understanding, for you do not have the ability to understand spiritual things with your mind. I have brought to you the grace to trust in me with all your heart. Now lean not to your own understanding, neither trust in the chariots and horses of the hour. I am the resurrection, and I am the life. From the corruptibility of destruction's arm, I do save you. The enemy has swung his mighty arm of corruption into your life and awaited the smell of defeat to rise up before your friends and those who have trusted in your ministry. I have come forth with the fresh breath of incorruptibility in the face of defeat and breathed new life into you. Stand on your feet in the face of the adversary's threat, and see the salvation of your God. I bring down the strongholds that have embedded themselves into your life and in your home. Their bunkers cannot stand in the face of the onslaught of my power that I show forth in your presence. I am against the enemy of your soul, and I have arisen with the victory of my cross.

The wings of faith shall become your vehicle as I fly you out of the pits of despair and ruin. Ruin's scheme created a crater of a valley within your life, but I will take this deep crater of depression and make it the scene of victory and testimonies. I shall bring forth the testimonies of your mouth and heart that others may know of the faithfulness of the Lord God. Be not intimidated any longer, neither appear as a worm before the prince of the power of the air, but stand with your sword drawn and your armor on, for you must swing your sword mightily and valiantly in battle.

Come away from Shame's ledge of judgment. He that led you to look down at his impending threat of torture is a liar with no power to execute his threat. I have bound up your enemies and led them away captive. Now arise, and be refreshed in my love and confidence. I do reaffirm my love to you with a fresh vision of my expression of love, which is a new perception of me laying down my life for you. Stop looking upon that which you have given, and begin looking upon that which I have given, then will you see my love for you in the proper perspective.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
