Children's Bread

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

The Beautiful Melody of Faith Hidden in Trouble's Song

February 6, 2005

Lift up your eyes unto the beauty of the Lord and his holiness. Behold the creation and its beauty. Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Nature has drawn its illustrations for your learning. My voice is here in the classroom of communion. Hear the word of the Lord. You are growing in grace and in the knowledge of me. Behold the trees, and behold my plan for your growth. You were planted in the likeness of my death and so are you raised in the likeness of my resurrection. I have supplied everything that you need to go from your planting unto your resurrection. Behold the planting of a seed, and learn of the power of my death. Unless a seed falls into the earth and dies, it will abide alone. It must first die in the earth and then it will bring forth much fruit. The powerful tree that you beheld did not bypass death as a seed, yet many have not found this powerful truth. Many are seeking this truth. Go and sow it into the earth. It will not return unto me void. Nature teaches you that which you sow is not quickened except it dies. The gospel has been given to you. Now go, and preach the gospel that others may die and live again.

I have waters that are alive. Look no longer to the dead water of this world. When you were raised in the newness of life, rivers of living water began to flow in you. Withdraw your own thoughts today, and I will water this valley with waterfalls of freshness and beauty. Hear the voice of many waters. These waters are speaking with power. These waters are falling upon your ears with resounding power. Hear the melody of the waters that flow. How can you hear a melody, if you considered the sound upon your ears to be an unwanted noise?

I have sent a dangerous waterfall as a surprise in your life to present you with a new melody of faith and trust. I am with you in this waterfall. Walk on into the center of this fall that the sound of it may surround you then will you hear the drum roll of trouble. Cease listening to the distraction of your natural senses, and listen with your spiritual ears. I am directing this symphony, and I have commanded everything in the waterfall of trouble to praise me. The fear of death has picked up its trumpet and has laid aside its melody of taps. The fear of death has picked up a new melody, and now love notes bring the sounds of life.

You will not die in this trial. I brought you here to hear the sounds of faith. Many never hear the sounds of faith, for they have never learned to hear spiritual sounds. In the greatest trouble, there is a melody. In the darkest plague, there is a melody of healing and recovery. In the worst difficulty, I have hidden a solo for those who trust me. In the loudest annoyance, there are notes of peace. You have listened at these things with ears of unbelief. Now listen with the ears of faith. Faith's ears are not pestered by pests. Faith's ears are not harassed by the sounds that are in the background of hardship. Faith's ears are trained to hear the melody of victory over hardship; therefore, the background sounds of hardship compliment the melody that my faithfulness has authored. Hear the beautiful sounds of faith. They are heard by those who love me enough to trust me. When you trust me in your troubles, then your ears of rest magnify the hidden melodies in all things. Rest in these trials, for I am tuning your ears to hear the beauty hidden in trouble's song.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
