Daily Bread - August 2, 2004

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

I have given you power over all unclean spirits; therefore, do not worry about them. They cannot harm you. You are in the light, and they are in the darkness. Walk in the light as I am in the light, and my blood will cleanse you of all sins. Be not disturbed by the war all around you. You live in a war zone, but there is peace for you, for I placed my kingdom here on earth. Listen not to the sounds of war, neither the many voices that are in the earth. Listen to my voice, and be at peace. My blood speaks better things on your behalf. Hear the voice of my blood. It is the blood of sprinkling, and it does speak better things. I put away sin by the sacrifice of myself. Now that blood that was shed is speaking. Draw near to me with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience and your body washed with pure water. Hold fast your profession of faith without wavering. I am faithful. I promised, and I will perform.

Worry not about your enemies. They will drown if they attempt to follow you into this place of refuge that I have brought you unto. They must cross over the Red Sea of my blood to get to you. I made no passageway for them; therefore, fear not. I have brought you out. Now do not fear. I am with you. You are among the elect according to the foreknowledge of God through sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. Grace has been given to you and peace. I am multiplying these things unto you now. Remember, you are begotten unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance undefiled and that does not fade away. It is reserved in heaven for you. Your inheritance is kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time. Rejoice greatly. Your salvation is secured.

This is the trial of your faith. It is much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise, honor, and glory at my appearing. In each trial, keep this in focus: praise, honor, and glory unto me. Praise, honor, and glory unto me. Praise, honor, and glory unto me. Rejoice with joy unspeakable, for at the end of the trial, you are saved. Those who are against you have missed the opportunity to rejoice. While they persecute you, they have taken their eyes off their joy and me. Turn your eyes from all these things, and be not distracted with them. They are your persecutors. Your persecutors are instruments of distraction. Pray for them, and be about my business. I have spoken to you in times past of the persecution that would come because of the word. Now do you think it strange because what I have told you has come to pass?

I have girded you about with grace and given you a great gospel to preach. Angels desire to look into these things. If only there could be men, that would go forth in obedience unto me. Gird up the loins of your mind, and be sober. Hope to the end of this grace that is given to you. It will see you to the end. Trust in my grace. It is sufficient.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
