Children's
Bread
But
Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is
not meet to take the children's bread, and
to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes,
Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

My
word has gone out of my mouth and will not return to me void. Whosoever
believes on me, shall not be ashamed. Only believe. There is no
difference between the Jew and the Gentile, for the same Lord over
all is rich unto all that call upon me. Whosoever shall call upon
the name of the Lord, shall be saved. You have believed in me. You
have heard of me. I have sent you preachers with beautiful feet
who have preached the gospel of peace and brought you glad tidings
of good things. The good things that I have promised you by the
mouth of the preachers that I sent shall not be denied in heaven,
neither in the earth. You will receive what I have promised you,
and you shall not be ashamed. The enemy has attempted to hinder
your blessings that were promised to you. He has devised a plan
to bring shame into your life. You shall not be put to shame, neither
confounded. I have come to honor you, not dishonor you. This confusing
strategy of your enemy shall not prevail against you. Allow not
guilt to rule in your heart because of your failures and shortcomings.
Confess your sins unto me, forsake them, and have faith in the power
of my love and my blood.
Your
enemies shall be clothed with shame and confusion. I have removed
shame from before you. I have brought your face out from under the
covers of confusion. I knew your reproach and your shame, yet mercy
has rejoiced against judgment, and I have forgiven all of your sins.
You are weak, but I am strong. You are foolish, but I am wise. I
have chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.
I have chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things
that are mighty. I have chosen the base things of the world, things
that are despised and things that are not, to bring to naught things
that are so that no flesh should glory in my presence.
I
am your wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Glory
in me. I will bring to pass that which I have spoken to you through
the preachers that I have sent unto you. Open your mouth and say,
"The word is nigh me even in my mouth and heart: that is, the word
of faith, which I have heard preached. I confess with my mouth the
Lord Jesus. I believe in my heart that God has raised him from the
dead. I am saved, for with my heart, I believe unto righteousness,
and with my mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Whosoever
believes on Jesus, shall not be ashamed; therefore, I will not be
ashamed as I wait on the Lord to fulfill my petition. Others believed
and therefore, have they spoken; I also believe, and therefore,
I speak."
You
have tasted that I am gracious. You came to me, the living stone,
disallowed of men but chosen of God and precious. You are a lively
stone, a part of a spiritual house and a holy priesthood. Jesus
Christ has made your spiritual sacrifices acceptable to me. You
believe on him. Now you shall not be confounded. You have obtained
mercy. Now rejoice in the face of this delay. The brazen arrogance
of the enemy cannot invalidate my promise. The haughtiness of this
foe cannot bring dishonor to those given grace by me. Refuse to
feel embarrassed or humiliated because of the threat of this antagonist.
He is retreating as you offer praise. Do not sit idly aside and
accept the uncomfortable feelings that he has fostered. Rid yourself
of these feelings by your confidence in my word and praise unto
me in the face of this adversary. You have been reluctant because
of fear of humiliation and shame. Hesitate no longer at the door
of victory. The spider of guilt has spun the web of inferiority.
I have given you faith as I have given to every man. Now rise up,
and make a good confession in the face of this delay. Destroy this
spider with the words of your mouth. You believe in me, and you
shall not be ashamed or confounded.

Amos
3: 7 - 8
Surely
the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto
his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not
fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
