Daily Bread - July 8, 2004

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

I am showing myself unto man in nature and in conscience. I am revealing myself to those who hunger and thirst after me. Do not seek a mental knowledge of me, for that is inadequate. It will only produce pride. I desire to give all men a new heart and remove their stony hearts. I am pouring out an increase in the knowledge of me. Destruction shall swallow up those who will not receive this increase. Many are being rejected of me because they have rejected knowledge. I will even forget the children of those who reject knowledge. I will be attentive to the children of those who accept knowledge, but I will be oblivious of those who reject it. I am teaching the truth. Do not reject the truth about me.

Be still, and know that I am God. I am exalted among the people of the earth. I am exalted in the earth. I am your God, the God of Jacob and your refuge. Continue in my word and then will you be my disciple. You know the truth, and it has made you free. There are many who claim freedom, but are the servants of sin. Whosoever commiteth sin, is sin's servant. Hear my words today, and understand my speech. You are my child, and I have given you hearing ears and seeing eyes. I have changed your heart and allowed you to enter into my presence where there is the fullness of joy. I have stretched forth the scepter of righteousness and allowed you access unto the throne of grace. Grace and mercy are yours today.

Pity those whose eyes have been blinded. The god of this world has blinded the minds of those who believe not. You have been given grace to believe my word; therefore, your mind has not been blinded by the evil one. I led you around temptations and delivered you from the evil one. You can find me by seeking me, but you cannot find me out by searching. No one can find me out unto perfection. My judgments are unsearchable, and my ways are past finding out. Who can know the depth of the riches of my wisdom and knowledge?

I have caused the heavens to declare my glory and the firmament to show forth my handiwork. The whole earth is filled with my glory. I have shown man the things that I want him to know. The invisible things of me from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made even my eternal power and Godhead. Man is without excuse.

Humble yourself under my mighty hand today, and I will exalt you in due time. Beware of pride during this time that I am granting you knowledge, for knowledge will puff you up. Draw nearer to me, for I am love, and charity will keep you edified. No matter how much knowledge is increased in your life, know this of a truth, that you will know nothing as you ought to know. Love me, and I will know you. I am giving you more grace that you might walk worthy of me unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of me.

You have asked to know me. Look through the lens of my word. Look through the lens of experience. Now sum up the total of these things, and your knowledge shall grow in leaps and in hurdles. Men strive for scholarships in the world. Study to show yourself approved unto me and then will you push aside ignorance and shame. The mind of knowledge has been given to you. No longer will you simply store information and collect facts and data. Your ideas shall change, and your thoughts shall reach into the heavens and return with the wisdom and knowledge of God Almighty. Enter into a new intimate relationship with me, and grow in the knowledge of me. I am the author of this new relationship. Now reflect the quality of this relationship in your life daily. The author's knowledge is shining in you. Allow the evidence of the author to be discovered by others. Refuse to be a reflector of ignorance. Allow my light to shine in you, for I have created you to be a light of my knowledge in the world.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
