Children's
Bread
But
Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is
not meet to take the children's bread, and
to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes,
Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

7:27-28

Man
or spirit cannot oppose the blessedness that is on your side successfully.
No one can persuade me to abandon my word, for I am God, and I cannot
lie. I have promised you and given you my word concerning your life.
What I have promised, shall be done. Do not abandon your faith in
my voice, for in this confidence, lies the roots of true faith.
Abraham did not refer to a written account of his reason for leaving
Ur of the Chaldees. He heard my voice and forsook all to follow
me. He believed my promises to him. I counted his faith as righteousness.
If you abandon your confidence in my voice for man's way, then you
will have your roots in instability, lies, deceit, and human frailty.
I am not a man that I should lie. All men are liars. Not one is
good but God. Make not flesh your arm lest you follow the curse
of the last days. It is written, "Cursed be the man that trusteth
in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from
the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall
not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in
the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the
man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he
shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out
her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but
her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of
drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. The heart is deceitful
above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I, the
LORD, search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man
according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings."
Lean
not to your own understanding. Lean on the arm of the Lord. Who
has an arm like mine?
Who
can thunder with a voice like mine?
I
will thunder for you. Give me your burdens, and rest from your own
labors. The work of my rest is activated in your life. Now behold
the benefits of the rest of God. Out of my rest comes the strong
arm of the Lord God. I rule with all power. I rule the raging sea.
When the waves of the sea rise, I cause it to be still. I will scatter
your enemies with my strong arm, for the heavens are mine and also
the earth. I founded the world and the fullness thereof. My mighty
arm is strong. I rule with a strong hand. My strong hand is high.
It is called the right hand of God. From everlasting to everlasting,
mercy and truth go before my face. Justice and judgment are the
habitation of my throne. Come and hear the joyful sound again then
will you walk in the light of my countenance and not the dismal
light of man's way. I am causing you to rejoice in my name. All
things are working together for good, and my righteousness is exalted.
I
am your defense. My glory is your strength, so sing unto me a new
song, for I have done marvelous things. My right hand and my holy
arm have gotten you the victory. I have made known my salvation.
My righteousness has been shown openly in the sight of the heathen.
I will show the salvation of God, for I have remembered my mercy
and my truth toward you. My mercy endures forever. I will bring
you out again with a strong hand and with a stretched out arm, for
my mercy endures forever. My own arm has brought salvation unto
you. Behold the finished work of salvation on your behalf.

Amos
3: 7 - 8
Surely
the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto
his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not
fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
