Daily Bread - December 16, 2004

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

I have not started the work in you and sent you to finish it alone. You can do nothing of yourself. I am the one who does the work. The Father, who dwells in you, does the work. Look to me, the Author and the Finisher. You must know me as the Author if you are to understand me as the Finisher. You are an epistle known and read of all men. Allow me to be your biographer, and you will be a complete book worth reading. I am the supreme writer, your Creator. I am the source of all wisdom and knowledge. The chapters in your life will be worthless readings if you design your own epistle. Adam decided to write his own epistle. Now everyone born in him is dead. Do not write your epistle, or you will die. Allow me to be the one behind your chapters and lines, and you will be a chronicle of life with lines and chapters worth reading.

I am the supreme architect, and I have designed you to be a success. Follow the plan of life, and death will not be your plague. I have not allowed your achievements to be ruined by the enemy of your soul. I started a good work in you, and I will perform it until the day of my coming. I did not create you to fail. The assumed failure that the enemy has threatened you with is only his plan for your life. He is not the finisher. I am. Greater am I, who is in you, than he that is in the world. Shall the lesser gain an advantage over the greater?

The severe frost of cold love shall not kill the young plants that I have given birth to. I am baptizing my body with a fresh love that will consume the frost bite of the hour. Enroll in this finishing school, and allow me to put the finishing touch of love on you and in you. Finishing school will allow you to finish this race in complete victory. You will not barely be a success. You will be a success by a large margin. What is the difference between light and darkness?

That is the difference between your success and your defeat. You will not almost lose. There is no losing in me. I am the victor, and I have guaranteed your victory. I am placing the last coat of spiritual varnish on the church. It shall shine brighter than many suns. There will be no darkness in it, nor any darkness on it. Arise and shine. The finishing touch of grace is being applied to your life. No one prevented you from being born again. Who will prevent you from being translated into a finished creation?

I am the Author and the Finisher. Who will prevent me from completely performing what I started?

I will put an end to what I start, for I am the one who completes and perfects. I started building my church. The gates of hell will not prevent me from finishing my church. I am the carpenter. The church is framed right. The interior of the church has been created with pure hearts. I have joined the church right. Now I am the closer. Behold how excellent I am in closing.

Amos 3: 7 - 8

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
