Fresh Bread, Living Water, and a Revelation of God During a Famine of the Hearing of the Words of God

Amos 8:11

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

I studied about an hour and a half this morning, then I prayed unto the Lord. Afterwards, I heard these expressions in my hearing,

Darkness has already covered the entire earth. Gross is the darkness of this present hour. Gross darkness has covered the people. Your light has come, and my glory has risen upon you. I have arisen upon you, and my glory is seen upon my body. You have come to this great light. Man will not send the darkness away. His programs will not heal the darkness. Their feet are stumbling upon the dark mountains in the darkness. While they look for a light, I have turned the dark mountains into the shadow of death, and it has become gross darkness. Weep between the porch and the altar, for the captivity of the earth is very great and strong. The adulterous system of the hour and their princes shall not deliver from the darkness with their gods of falsehood, for they are darkness themselves. How shall they bring freedom out of bondage?

How shall the unclean be made clean except by the hand of the Eternal God?

I sent my great salvation and blew away the devouring things that were consuming you. Go not back to the living darkness of the hour. It can be felt. Why volunteer to serve the living darkness when you may serve the Living Light?

I am the Lord, your God, and I give you power to get wealth that I may establish my covenant which I swore unto the fathers. I am going before you making the crooked places straight. I am breaking in pieces the gates of brass. I am cutting asunder the bars of iron. I am giving you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, and the Holy One. You did not know me. I have revealed myself to you, a Gentile. I have called you by name. I called you out of darkness and the strong dark hands that held you. There is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else. I have formed light for you to walk in. I have caused righteousness to come down from heaven. You have tasted of this great salvation that has come forth. Salvation is yours and by it, you are fashioned anew. Do not strive with your calling or me. I am the Creator. Do not question what I allow, neither strive with those who despitefully use you.

I have made the earth and created man upon it. By my own hands, have I stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. I have given you commandments. Do them as the heavens and their host did at my command. Do them, and you will live and multiply. You will go in, and possess the good things that I have prepared for you. I have humbled you and shown you how wretched, wicked, and miserable that you are. Without my grace, you would not be able to keep the least of my commandments. While I humbled you and suffered you to hunger and thirst after righteousness, I have given you the manna of the last days. You did not know of this manna. There is a famine of the hearing of the words of God. The people of this world live by a different kind of bread, but I am causing you to live by every word that proceeds out of my mouth.

I have chastened you and allowed you to fall into my hands instead of the hands of man. The hands of man are cruel. My hands are merciful. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God. Would you rather abide in these hands with a godly reverence of me or in the hands of cruelty and judgment without mercy?

I have brought you into a good place with many blessings. I have blessed you. Now bless the Lord, your God, for the good land that I have given you. I have given you a kingdom that shall not be moved. Always keep my commandments. If you continue breaking my commandments, you will forget me, the Lord, your God. You will eat and get full of my blessings then will your heart be lifted up, and you will forget the one who brought you out of darkness and into this marvelous light of goodness and liberty.

I did not allow the serpents and scorpions to destroy you. The spiritual drought that has killed many of your brethren did not get you. I have given you fresh bread and living water in this latter time where there is a famine of the hearing of my words. Rejoice. I have been good to you. Remember the covenant that I have made with you. Do not walk after other doctrines and other gods. Beware of doctrines that fostered gods, for I am one. I have said, "Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord, and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."

You shall fear me, the Lord, your God, and serve me. You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the people who are round about you. I am a jealous God. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. I am the first and the last. I am he that lives, was dead, and is alive forevermore. I have the keys of hell and of death.

You are a witness. I chose you that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me, there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord, and beside me there is no savior. I, even I, am the one that blotted out your transgressions for my own sake, and I do not remember your sins. I am the Lord that made all things. I am the one that stretched forth the heavens alone. I am the one that spreads abroad the earth by myself. My name is Jesus. Worship me in spirit and in truth.
